The puzzle
Enemy: Level 11 Prince down the left lane and Level 11 Dark Prince down the right lane
Towers: Your Princess Towers: 1 HP each. Enemy Princess Towers: 1 HP each. Enemy King Tower: 5,000 HP.
Objective: Destroy a 1 HP enemy Princess Tower with the Hog Rider, while both Princes chase him instead of hitting your towers.
Solution — step by step
- Wait for both Princes to reach the bridges. Do not deploy early: placed before they are close, he will not pull both of them.
- Place Hog Rider in the centre column, right at the top of your side by the river. There is no exact centre tile, so one tile left or right of the middle is fine.
- Watch both Princes turn toward him. Hog Rider jumps the river and heads for an enemy Princess Tower. Prince and Dark Prince chase him back across instead of continuing to your towers. That is the rebound.
- Let Hog Rider land his first hit. The tower has 1 HP, so a single hit wins the puzzle.
Why it works
You cannot stop two Princes with one Hog Rider, and Hog Rider only targets buildings. So you make both Princes chase him while he takes a tower first.
If it still fails
- One Prince ignores the Hog: you placed too early or too late. Use the moment both reach the bridges as your cue.
- Hog Rider in one lane: he will likely pull only the Prince on that side. The centre is what gets both.
- Backup route reported by a player: place Hog Rider a few tiles lower in the same centre column and let him take one Prince hit, which makes both chase.
Par 3 is the target number of attempts, not a limit — the same idea as golf. You can retry as many times as you like; the scenario is identical on every attempt.
